Firstly, I want to apologise for not updating the blog page for so long - it's one of those things that just seems to get put to the back of the que . Well, so much has happened in the last year it's difficult to know where to start....

Firstly, I've teamed up

ree

with Horsforth Brewery and have started making special edition, one off sauces in collaboration with them. You may have tried one or two as I have been selling them at the markets. Sauces such as 'El Calavera' - a green chilli sauce with the addition of their El Calavera Mexican inspired IPA beer. It was a real hit and I've now totally sold of it but I do believe they still have a few bottles at their tap room in Horsforth. Following that was 'By The Hair of Ernie' - a yellow habanero sauce with the addition of their mango IPA - it had a real spicy edge to it and again sold very well! The owner of Horsforth Brewery is a guy called Mark, he is a great supporter of local businesses and it's been a real pleasure to work with him. Additionally they make incredible beer and I wholeheartedly recommend you sample it! Look out for future collaborations with Horsforth Brewery....

The newest addition to the range is my new Habanero infused hot honey. It's gone down a storm at my Christmas markets and is now a product I will stock on the website at all times. It took a bit of research and development to get the recipe just right but I'm super happy with it now. It really carries the flavour of the habanero exceptionally well, it's definitely spicier than most standard hot honeys and the feedback has been really positive so I'm dead chuffed with it...

As I look forward to 2026 the biggest question is at what point do I become a full time sauce maker? I'm still balancing working full time with making the sauces but at some point I feel I'll have to make that leap! Be sure to keep an eye on my social media because no doubt, it'll be all over them when I do!

Until then, thank you so much for your support - I couldn't do this without you!

Many thanks,

ree

Joe
